Solar Inventions co-founder Dr. Ben Damiani presents first key paper on C3 at 2021 IEEE 48th Photovoltaic Specialists Conference (PVSC)

After peer review by a panel of PV experts, Dr. Ben Damiani’s paper titled, “Reduced Silver Consumption for Optimized Performance of Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Devices Using the Configurable Current Cell Electrical Architecture” was accepted for presentation at the 48th IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists conference (PVSC), the largest US conference on photovoltaics research and applications.

Dr. Damiani presented the paper on June 26, 2021 and took questions afterwards.

“We are excited to share the results of our last few years of research", said Dr. Damiani. “The fact that we are able to create electrically isolated subcells and simultaneously reduce the silver usage by 3-15% is an exciting foundation for a wave of new solar innovations.”
